Meta's Muse Agent Adds PayPal, Shopify, and Peloton as Launch Partners

As Muse races up the app store charts, Meta is moving quickly to build out the ecosystem of partners that let the AI agent actually get things done on a user's behalf — from checking out online to booking a workout class.

PayPal: agentic checkout across merchants worldwide

PayPal said it is partnering with Meta to let PayPal customers shop and check out using Muse personal AI agents across PayPal merchants worldwide. The partnership is designed to let Muse agents assist PayPal customers directly with shopping and checkout, with the capability extending across PayPal's global merchant network. Muse is Meta's personal AI agent, built to handle tasks like this on a user's behalf.

Shopify: Shop Pay comes to Muse

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said Meta is working with Shopify to make shopping and checkout easier through Muse. Shopify is enabling agentic checkout with Shop Pay through the agent, and said the integration will apply across all Shopify stores — not a limited pilot. Zuckerberg said Muse will help shoppers find more products and help shops sell more, and that Meta expects to announce additional Muse partnerships going forward.

Peloton: workouts, planned by AI

Peloton is among Muse's launch connectors, letting U.S. members search classes, manage schedules, and build workout plans through Meta's agent. Muse can search Peloton classes by instructor, discipline, duration, and difficulty (though notably, it cannot yet search class playlists by song or artist). Members can book, move, and cancel classes, with separate controls to allow, ask, or deny schedule changes. In testing, Muse built detailed Peloton-based strength and marathon training plans and added selected classes directly to users' schedules.
