SpaceX and space stocks
SpaceX reported third-quarter earnings of $0.35 a share against a $0.13 consensus, with revenue up 161% to $14.57 billion, above the $12.87 billion consensus. Some reports round revenue to $14.58 billion. Elon Musk also said a merger with Tesla would be "a good idea," according to reports, and that Tesla and SpaceX have each formed special committees of independent directors to study one. He said the committees "have not reached agreement on the terms of any transaction" and there is "no guarantee" they will. SpaceX shares were up between about 7% and 10% in different morning reports, and Tesla was up about 3%. The Rocket Lab and AST SpaceMobile gains were smaller in those reports. We found no coverage of the Firefly or EchoStar moves, so those come from the summary only. See our full SpaceX earnings article and SpaceX's investor relations release.
AI servers: Super Micro, Dell and HPE
Super Micro said fiscal first-quarter revenue should be $18.5 billion to $19.5 billion, up from its own $14.5 billion to $15.5 billion guidance, with gross margin of 12.0% to 12.5% versus 10.4% to 10.8%. The figures are preliminary and unaudited. The stock rose about 11.5% after hours on Tuesday, and the summary has it up 9% at midday. Dell rose nearly 5% and HPE 3%; we found no company news behind those two moves, so the AI server read-through is the summary's framing. Details are in our Super Micro article.
Alphabet and Meta
OpenAI said on October 21 that its frontier models and Codex tools are coming to Google Cloud's Model Garden, with general availability planned for "the coming weeks." Customers can buy them through Google Cloud Marketplace and apply existing Google Cloud spending commitments. OpenAI's announcement notes Microsoft remains its primary cloud partner. Alphabet was down 2% at midday per the summary, which ties the move to this news; one analyst quoted by Axios argued Google loses little because customers still pay for its cloud, data and security services. Alphabet reports October 28; see our earlier Alphabet recap. Meta rose 2% ahead of its earnings after the close, with a call at 4:30 p.m. ET; see our supplier preview.

Netflix. Netflix guided 2026 revenue to $51.1 billion against a $51.21 billion consensus, per our earnings article. The summary calls this a narrowing from a $51 billion to $51.4 billion range; we did not verify that earlier range. The stock was down 5% per the summary.
AT&T. AT&T beat Q3 estimates, raised its 2026 adjusted EPS outlook to about $2.40, and booked a $2.6 billion Mexico impairment that cut GAAP EPS to $0.13. The summary says capital spending expectations stayed above consensus; we could not verify that against a consensus figure. AT&T has guided capital investment of $22 billion to $23 billion a year for 2027 and 2028. See our AT&T article and AT&T investor relations.
